“Forex Itu Gampang” Apakah anda pernah mendengar atau membaca kalimat itu dari para trader forex, pengajar forex di seminar - seminar yang mereka adakan atau bahkan dari para master forex..?? Namun, apakah benar demikian?? “May be No May Be Yes”. Bagaimana dengan statement yang menyatakan bahwa lebih dari 90% trader pemula mengalami loss..??

Tidak bisa di pungkiri bahwa itu benar suatu kenyataan dan saya rasa anda sudah pasti pernah merasakan LOSS di forex.

Saya Bahkan berani mengklaim bahwa forex itu sangat-sangat susah tidak perlu jauh-jauh menilainya cukup dari mengenal istilah-istilah yang ada di forex misalkan, MACD, MA, EA, SL, TP, TS, TIME FRAME, CANDLE STICK, FIBO, BOLINGER BAND, PARABOLIC, dan lain-lain yang tentunya bagi orang awam tidak akan mengerti, itu hanya dari istilahnya saja belum lagi menjalankan sistem dari istilah-istilah tersebut di “lapangan”.

Yang lebih parahnya lagi bahwa kebanyakan yang mengatakan forex itu gampang adalah dari kalangan pemula atau trader yang baru mulai di dunia forex dalam artian disini trader yang punya pengalaman di bawah 6 bulan dan berani mengklaim forex itu “gampang” dan mungkin mereka berani mengatakan hal itu karena lagi profit diawal-awal tradingnya, maka timbul lah niat untuk lebih serius di dunia forex dengan percaya diri yang sangat tinggi sehingga berani melakukan spekulasi-spekulasi yang menurut Om “Money Management” sangat beresiko tinggi atau high risk yang pada akhirnya dapat mengakibatkan kebangkrutan si trader itu sendiri.

Forex butuh Ilmu, Modal dan Hoki, dimana bila ketiga unsur itu tidak ada jangan berharap bisa meraih keuntungan di dunia forex. Bahkan saya pribadi berani mengorban waktu, uang dan tenaga untuk bisa mempelajari dan memperoleh ilmu forex ketimbangkan saya hanya mengandalkan keyakinan semata dalam mengambil keputusan dalam trading yang nantinya membuat kita berani melakukan spekulasi tanpa ilmu forex itu sendiri sehingga dapat mengakibatkan hal terburuk yang tidak di inginkan oleh setiap trader.

Ada beberapa tips yang ingin saya berikan kepada teman-teman trader yang mungkin bisa bermanfaat untuk perkembangan trading anda :

1. Forex meliputi teknikal dan fundamental, maka pelajarilah kedua ilmu itu baik melalui buku, forum, seminar, e-book, atau ke orang-orang yang lebih berpengalaman di bidang tersebut.

2. Demo Account, Banyak trader yang telah bermain ‘Live Account’ namun tidak mau lagi bermain dengan ‘Demo Account’ sebagai pembelajaran, padahal dengan selalu belajar pada demo account akan menambah pengalaman, volume atau kapasitas melakukan open posisi yang di dasari dengan sistem yang sedang di pelajari yang nantinya dapat di gunakan pada account live sehingga kita dapat menilai sistem apa yang bagus dan cocok bagi kita untuk benar-benar dapat di gunakan bila nanti kita terapkan pada live account.

3. Cobalah untuk membuat satu club trader di kotamu sebagai ajang untuk berkumpul dan membahas tentang forex sehingga anda bisa saling sharing dengan sesama trader dan bila perlu undanglah orang yang lebih berpengalaman di bidang forex sebagai “SUHU” yang dapat memberikan petunjuk dan pengalamannya bagi anda dan minimal anda dapat membuat satu forum khusus untuk menyatukan trader-trader tersebut, hal ini penting karena forex adalah ilmu tanpa batas sehingga ilmu-ilmu itu harus update dan anda harus selalu mengikutinya.

4. Cari Dan Bentuklah style trading anda sendiri karena belum tentu sistem trading orang lain cocok untuk  anda gunakan dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Anda hanya perlu lebih banyak latihan untuk mengenal karakter tiap pair baik secara teknikal maupun secara fundamental, hal ini berguna agar kita lebih peka terhadap situasi market.

5. Mental dan Emosional sangat berperan penting dalam dunia forex, cobalah berlatih untuk membangun mental dan emosional anda, dengan lebih sering bersosialisasi dengan orang lain sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk menilai seberapa baik mental dan emosional anda menghadapi orang lain disekitar anda yang tentunya nanti dapat mempengaruhi kinerja trading anda.

Kesimpulan dari artikel saya ini adalah trading forex itu butuh pengetahuan dan tidak boleh di remehkan, hari ini anda boleh senang dengan profit yang anda hasilkan, akan tetapi bisa jadi anda akan mengalami loss di hari berikutnya dan perlu anda ingat bahwa jarak antara profit dan loss itu sangat “TIPIS” ibarat antara jarak senang dan sedih. MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Fast food giant Burger King apologized Tuesday for an advertisement featuring a squat Mexican draped in his country’s flag next to a tall American cowboy and said it would change the campaign.
Mexico’s ambassador to Spain said posters released in Europe for Burger King’s new Tex-Mex style “Texican whopper,” a cheeseburger with chile and spicy mayonnaise, inappropriately displayed the Mexican flag, whose image is protected under national law.

The ambassador wrote a letter complaining to Burger King and requested the ad campaign be discontinued.
Burger King said the ads were meant to show a mixture of influences from the southwestern United States and Mexico, not to poke fun at Mexican culture, but said it would replace them “as soon as commercially possible.”

“Burger King Corporation has made the decision to revise the Texican Whopper advertising creative out of respect for the Mexican culture and its people,” it said in a statement.
“The existing campaign falls fully within the legal parameters of the United Kingdom and Spain where the commercials are being aired and were not intended to offend anyone,” the company added.

A TV version of the ad shows the strapping cowboy and the pint-sized Mexican wrestler — nicknamed “Just a Little Bit” — living together as roommates. At one point, the American lifts up the Mexican to help him put a trophy on a high shelf.

Mexico was involved in another controversial ad campaign last year when Absolut vodka posted billboard ads in Mexico with an early 19th century map showing chunks of the United States as part of Mexico.
The campaign angered many U.S. citizens and was later dropped.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has released a program solicitation in Geobiology and Low-Temperature Geochemistry.

The program will support research in a number of topics relevant to astrobiology, including the interactions between biological and geological systems, geomicrobiology, biomineralization processes and the development of tools, methods and models for conducting low-temperature geochemistry and geobiology research.

Studying the interactions between biology and geology throughout Earth’s history is essential in determining what makes our planet Habitable. This information can also help astrobiologists determine if other locations in our solar system, such as Mars, could have once supported life as we know it.Full proposals are due on July 16, 2009. Oscar De La Hoya

Oscar De La Hoya knew it was time to retire after Manny Pacquiao pummeled him into submission in December. Still, he wavered another four months before persuading himself to let go.De La hoya ended a 16-year career in which he won 10 world titles in six divisions and became boxing’s most popular fighter.

“These four months have been very difficult for me,” the 36-year-old native of East Los Angeles told hundreds of fans gathered Tuesday at an outdoor plaza across from Staples Center.

“This decision was based on making sure, first of all, that I do not disappoint anyone when I step inside the ring, that I do not disappoint myself, and I make sure that I can watch my kids grow up.”

De La hoya was thoroughly beaten by Pacquiao in his last fight, his fourth loss in his last seven bouts. He had not defeated a formidable opponent since Fernando Vargas in 2002. Age and diminished skills led to losses in recent years to Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley, Bernard Hopkins and Floyd Mayweather Jr..

He won his last title in May 2006, beating Ricardo Mayorga in six rounds for the WBC 154-pound belt. He finished with a record of 39-6 and 30 knockouts.

“This is the love of my life, my passion is boxing, boxing is what I was born to do,” said De La hoya. “When I can not do it anymore, when I can not compete at the highest level, it’s not fair. It’s not fair to me, it’s not fair to the fans, it’s not fair to nobody. “

De La hoya said he did not want to let down his fans or himself by attempting another fight.

Although the second half of his career was not as successful, De La hoya was a champ at the ticket window. His bouts were guaranteed pay-per-view successes, and he was a cash cow for HBO, which broadcast 32 of his fights, most of any boxer, and generated millions in profits for the cable network.

De La hoya’s last title bout was in May 2007, when he lost to Mayweather for the WBC 154-pound title in Las Vegas, the site of most of his bouts.

De La hoya kept a serious expression during his announcement, his voice breaking only when he thanked his father, Joel, who sat on the stage with the boxer’s wife.

“I remember the times when he would take me to the gym and never gave up on me,” said De La hoya. “We’ve lived some tough moments inside the ring, we’ve been through everything, but my father was always there for me. Thank you for pushing me as hard as you can. “

De La hoya began boxing at age 5, following in the path of his Grandfather and father. He won an Olympic gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Games, delivering on a promise to his late mother, Cecilia, who died of breast cancer two years earlier. De La hoya began his pro career against Lamar Williams on Nov. 23, 1992, at the Forum in nearby Inglewood, winning with a first-round knockout while fighting at 133 pounds. When he lost to Pacquiao in Las Vegas on Dec. 6, De La hoya fought at 147.

His last victory came against Steve Forbes on May 3, 2008, in Los Angeles, where he won in 12 rounds weighing in at 150.

“I am very happy for Oscar and his family,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “I think he made the correct decision. Fighters of my generation owe him a great debt. I wish him nothing but the best. “

De La hoya has donated money to fund a cancer hospital wing named for his late mother in East Los Angeles and a charter high school downtown that bears his name.

“Now I’m looking forward to the future of boxing, looking forward to working with the school, the hospital and continuing to be the best I can be outside the ring,” he said. “There’sa legacy I can leave outside the ring and that to me is just as important as everything I’ve accomplished inside the ring.”

Katie Holmes

Actress Katie Holmes is in mourning following the tragic death of her brother-in-law, according to a new report. Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, the husband of Holmes’ eldest sister Tamera, was found dead on April 12 in his mother Shirley’s home in Sarasota, Florida. He was 48. A cause of death has yet to be determined, but medical examiner Russell Vega tells RadarOnline.com that foul play or suicide is unlikely. Fretti, the owner of a funeral home in Toledo, Ohio, had taken his two children to visit their grandmother.

Tamera did not accompany her husband on the trip but has since flown to Florida to bring the kids back to the family home in Ohio. Holmes is expected to attend a funeral for Fretti in Toledo’s Gesu Church   on April 20 2009.
